the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: assessing,
planning, implementing nursing interventions and evaluating patient's outcomes; providing
appropriate healthcare service including Integrated Management of Childhood IlInesses
(IMCI), immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care and delivery, providing health education
and counselling to patients/clients and community on identified health needs; referring
patients and clients appropriately; facilitating patients' admission and initiating discharge
plans; maintaining records on patients/clients health condition and care; ensuring a tidy
and safe clinical environment; and collecting and compiling data
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care interventions for patients.
- Provide quality healthcare services in accordance with established nursing standards.
- Deliver Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI) services.
- Participate in immunization programs and preventive healthcare initiatives.
- Provide PMTCT (Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission) services.
- Offer antenatal care, maternity, and delivery services.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients, clients, and communities.
- Identify and refer patients and clients to appropriate healthcare facilities and specialists.
- Facilitate patient admissions and coordinate discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and care documentation.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and conducive clinical environment.
- Collect, compile, and maintain healthcare data and reports.
Requirements

Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery, or Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution.

Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.

Valid Practicing License from the Nursing Council of Kenya.

Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution.
