Our client is looking for a Port Clerk to support efficient container, unit, and cargo transfers from ICD to KPA while ensuring safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Locate and cite containers, units, and loose cargo for loading.
Inspect cargo for damages and seal integrity before loading.
Ensure cited cargo is loaded, scanned, and exits the port within timelines.
Document cargo damages and issue KPA Equipment Interchange Reports.
Coordinate with transporters on port entry, exit gates, and cargo movement.
Complete and issue accurate delivery notes to transporters.
Ensure all cargo is issued with serialized delivery notes.
Process gate passes for port exit.
Enforce safety standards and safe work practices.
Report all operational incidents promptly.
Ensure compliance with KPA and partner agency regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field.
Experience in port or terminal operations is an advantage.
Knowledge of container, unit, and cargo handling.
Basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure.
Good communication and coordination skills.
High safety awareness and discipline.
