Medical Store Assistant at Medipal Medical Supplies is responsible for supporting daily pharmacy and medical store operations, including organizing and issuing stock, assisting customers, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring proper storage of medical products. The role requires attention to detail, basic knowledge of medicines and supplies, and strong customer service skills to help ensure efficient and safe distribution of medical items.
Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, organizing, and storing medical supplies properly
- Issue medicines and products to customers or departments accurately
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records and stock levels
- Check expiry dates and ensure proper rotation of stock (FIFO method)
- Support customers with inquiries and basic product information
- Ensure cleanliness and proper arrangement of the store
- Assist in stock taking and inventory audits
- Report low stock levels or damaged items to the supervisor
- Follow health, safety, and pharmacy storage guidelines
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in a medical-related course
- Experience in a medical store or hospital supplies is an added advantage
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Good communication and customer handling skills
- Basic computer skills (Excel and stock management systems)
