The role involves surface preparation, color matching, spray painting, and maintaining vehicle appearance for fleet operations. Responsibilities
Surface Preparation: Cleaning, sanding, repairing dents, and masking vehicle surfaces before painting.
Primer Application: Applying etching, high-build, or sealing primers for proper adhesion and corrosion protection.
Basecoat Spraying: Applying color coats evenly and accurately to achieve a quality finish.
Clearcoat Finishing: Sealing and protecting paintwork with gloss and UV resistance.
Polishing & Detailing: Buffing and finishing painted surfaces for professional quality results.
Workplace Maintenance: Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
Requirements
Education: Trade Test Grade, Diploma, or higher qualification in body works.
Experience: Proven experience in automotive painting and refinishing.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of paint mixing, spraying techniques, and finishing processes.
